Yeah, you bought it for a fourth of the max buyin. The problem with doing this is you get absolutely no fold equity from anybody and your hands will often get cracked.
The pre-flop minimum raise is your second mistake. I don't know how much I can stress this, although it's less of a problem with such a shortstack, but never EVER raise somebody the minimum, ESPECIALLY pre-flop. Imagine for a second that you bought in for the maximum of $25. Somebody raises to $1 preflop and you raise him $1 more, let's also for the sake of this topic assume that we have equal stack sizes. Now that min-raise is usually a sign of strength from a weak player, not saying that you are, but people who make the move you just did are announcing to the table that they have a huge hand, and that anybody with a pocket pair can call for cheap, flop a set and take your stack. Now with not even 7 bucks to start the hand they don't have great implied odds to begin with, but that's not the point. Raise bigger preflop and always bet that flop. In this case you induced a bluff and just got unlucky, but you really made several mistakes that ended up costing you the hand.
