Default Fnord moves to 100 6 max: Look ma, no c-bet!

Pretty early on, haven't established my game yet...

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Fnord ($106.80)
    Button ($33.50)
    SB ($40.65)
    BB ($105.90)
    UTG ($47)
    MP ($76.05)

Preflop: Fnord is CO with K, K.
2 folds, Fnord raises to $3, Button calls $3, SB calls $2.50, BB calls $2.

    Flop: ($12) J, 4, J (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Fnord checks, Button checks.

    Turn: ($12) 6 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Fnord bets $7, Button folds, SB calls $7, BB folds.

    River: ($26) K (2 players)
    SB checks, Fnord bets $12...

    Check the stack sizes

Should I have just shoved on the river? I wanted to give him room to play back at me on this scary board when I've shown a really funny line from his perspective...

Hmmm. I like this if you are new to the table or if you skip the cbet more than just this time. I like to throw the same size cbet out each time. Otherwise, a missed cbet from you will set off some alarms. I'm sure you are aware of this.

God I hope so. I'd love to showdown my hand cheap if I didn't spike a King...

This is a clear destacking to me if the villain has anything. You can't bet $12 here, because it assumes the villain has something like TT, and he's almost as likely to call $12 as $30+ with that hand on this board, which is slightly on the unlikely side. I play this for the noose every time.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

The 12 dollar bet ensures fnord gets called by a potential weak hand (low pocket or even a high). The AI only ensures hes getting called by a flush or a slowplayed jack (although, I see a slowplayed jack betting the turn).

Unless SB is really that bad and makes the supposed call of his lifetime with 4-4, but since it's too early to have a read on him (or know why he's so short stacked) the 12 dollar bet ensures some money
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

I think checking the flop is pretty standard. No sense in being aggressive when you might be drawing dead to two outs. Playing cautiously when a big pair flops in these situations is best, I think. I'd just push all-in on the river and hope he has a J or a flush.
