hey gabe, just wanted a discussion on your latest blog entry.. hope you dont mind.

it seems you were running a bit stagnant, then you took off! did you change your table selection/game of choice?? how you play?? or did you just get back to school and have a better environment for poker?

after that peak in the middle, i caught a really cold run of cards. this made me play worse and probably the reason i for the last 15k hands of not winning. the games i play are pretty tough because the number of TAGs in them, but combine that with me not being in the right mindset and theres not much money to be made.

i took a week or so to play lower stakes to get my confidence back. also during this period, i tried to play a little tighter so i wouldnt feel the effects of variance as much, but since then ive been back to my old aggro self

wow you musta been feelin pretty bad after that -26k downswing.. good to see you are back on track..

i dont think i will ever play up at your level (beyond $200NL.) i think there are too many taggs up there for me, i prefer the weak/tighties.
