Default Donkey play mixed with tilt

Hi guys, if im posting to much in a short period of time just tell me and ill stop but im trying to figure out my mistakes so hopefully i dont do them again. Ok this hand is an example of me being on tilt from bad play ealier that day. Is raising A 10 suited in early position in a 6 handed game bad? I would never do that in a full game but the combined tilt that i was on and the fact that it was 6 handed was the reason i did it. I know i overplayed the hand but was there something i coulda done to get away from this? What is the rule on being pot committed , if i dump half of my chips in the pot then im commited to put the rest in there?TY again guys

wouldn't worry about posting - after all were all here to learn - talking about a hand or the game in general improves not just the original poster's game but also the people that reply.

If you could post the hand history - this would help people to give you a clear response - since poker is a situational game - when it is not clear what the poster is asking it comes down to "It Depends".

You have nothing and he looks like he has at least 2 pair when he calls you on the flop. You need to try and see a cheap turn to make your flush.

This is where it gets player dependent. If you check will he check behind with 2 pair? (probably not)

If you bet small will he raise you?

Is he the type of player to just never give you the correct odds to draw?

At the moment it looks like you have your flush outs and maybe the Aces (maybe even the 10s). Check the turn and see if you get odds to draw. As it turns out you would have been drawing very dead anyway but that isnt important. Most of the time he probably has a PP and puts you on 2 high off suit cards. When he raises you allin the situation changes because you have new information. Without doing the math it doesnt look like you have odds to draw to your flush and there is a significant chance the flush will lose anyway.
You made a strong turn bet that looks like it was protecting a made hand and he made a bet that says he doesnt care what you have. Fold.

    I personally Fold preflop.
Playing like you did I probably check the turn but ill make a blocking bet against someone who hates to raise. Fold to the reraise.

edit: Just so you know I dont play 6max

Ok so check the turn would be a good play since i did make a semibluff continuation bet on flop and he called and on the river i was not getting good odds at all to call that but it was tilt which made me. I really need to slow down my playalot and think about each betting round but im not that good of a quck thinker, any suggestions? thanks bro

    Just practise.

The point is if you're going to take a stab at a point with nothing then you gotta remember you had nothing.

Before each decision think about the range of hands he could have. Count the number you are ahead of compared to the number you are behind.

In the hand above, you were ahead of exactly 0 hands. That means the only way you can win is if he folds. The problem is this.

Noone in the history of poker has ever folded after they were allin. You cant bluff someone after they put you allin so just get over it and play the next hand. You took your chance and it didnt work. "Don't throw good money after bad money" is something you will hear alot and it applies perfectly to this situation. If you really want to punish him for trapping you/ sucking out on you or what ever it is this punk is trying to do to tilt you then punish him by not paying for his next night out
