    Default Fast-playing costing me money?

I'm taking small stabs at 200nl. Maybe they just respect raises more?

    Am I raising too much?

mmmm... first hand is okay. don't think UTG had much.

Second hand there's no need to raise hard. U got the nuts and it's likely to keep being the nuts. Villain is probably sitting on AK. Make a min-raise. Or you can flat call and raise the turn, but depending on read I would probably go for the less conventional min-raise the flop here.

Third hand... you can play it as you did. Or call and invite players into the pot. I'm happy to take a $30 pot with an unmade hand here. Why are you calling with that shit in MP2 tho?

What?? Are you crazy??????? NL100 is full of solid, experienced professionals.

    Sorry, I had to.

Sometimes it amazes me how bad people are that are putting $100 (or whatever their partial buy-in is) on the line...

    hand 1

looks like no one hand anything strong here - as soon as sb checks UTG is probally just trying to steal/take the pot down here.

    hand 2

your hoping he has an overpair here to get any more money from him with this raise - since your in position I would just call - if he bets on the turn I would call again - if he checks I would check - on the river what ever he does I might try a All-in "donkish play" or just try and extract some money out of him.

If I have shown the aggression preflop then I like to continue it on the flop - but with me just calling the preflop raise I would just call the agressor on the flop with that big a hand - (more times than not)

    hand 3

always happy to take down a pot without a made hand.

You're missing the part where the opponent feels ahead more often. How do intend on making them feel that way when you have the winning hand? You gotta loosen em up.

You know how in a rebuy tourney it pays to push any two hoping to suck out within the first few hands? Then you create a frenzy for your good hands? Same thing on a smaller scale, without the pushing all in.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
