I think this is fine for the right kind of table and the right kind of opponents (loose table and passive players who won't or don't challenge cbets - even on non-credible flops).

Don't do this too often but, in the right situations, you'll be able to pick up these small pots and finance some looseness preflop.

Yeah, this play is fine if you do it once in a while, and you are confident your opp is going to fold. Also be prepared to fold if he pushes, and check the turn/river if he smooth calls your flop bet.

I don't overuse this play.

Under normal circumstances with this play I would quit after I have callers preflop. However, in this case the flop texture seemed perfect for the play. Conceivably, the two callers both had small pairs, and as long as they weren't sevens, that flop bet would take it down 9 times out of 10.

I might do this with 99, but with 33 you're gonna be behind or flipping if you get some callers. And that flop...yuck...
