    I usually like to raise this with favorable position in a short-handed game, but it honestly doesn't really matter what he does preflop. Raising has its benefits, and limping has its benefits. It's mostly just a matter of personal preference (limping keeps the pot small, while raising builds the pot with a marginal hand, raising will sometimes fold out a button who would've otherwise limped, limping allows the button and blinds to play cheaply, etc, etc).

    Postflop, this is totally standard.

    Sorry... I should preface this. I actually know BEANS about 6max, I hope by posting crazy ideas people will shoot them down.

    But seriously... most of these guys don't even have any kind of stack for implied odds limping with QJ. I just make it a buck on principal. Maybe if you were s000ted you could limp.
