    2) Ugh. This hand got pretty ugly. I usually bet this flop, but I like to mix it up once in a while. My original plan was to c/c the flop and lead the turn, but when the turn paired kings, I felt like betting might not be the right play.

    3) I have raised villian out of 2 pots in the last 2 orbits in blind vs. blind battles, and I only sat down 2 orbits ago. The second pot was the previous hand. I actually had good hands, but from villian's point of view, he could easily interpret this as being "bullied." Therefore I thought he would pay off the flop CR with a pretty wide range. What's your turn line, and what do you put him on?

Hand 1: Bet the turn harder, bet the river.
  3. #3
    Hand 1: As Fnord said.

Hand 2: Bet flop, then continue from there. Failing to bet here makes the remainder of the hand extremely awkward, especially given your position.

Hand 3: Bet turn and fold to a raise. If he calls, bet river and fold to a raise. Very few players are capable of raising without the ace, but most are capable of calling down with a lesser club that they'd otherwise show down.

Hand 4: Probably call if you think he's a typical bad player who overplays certain starting hands (middle to middle high pairs and strong aces).

    Hand 5: That looks fine.

    1. As Fnord said and Dsaxton seconded. I wouldn't be worried about runner, runner flush or even the straight that much.

    2. Too cute. Bet the flop.

    3. dsaxton said it well.

    4. Fuck it. I'd call too.

    5. Fine.

I admire your courage. I just don't think I have that laydown in me.

Lol... Do you admire my ability to accurately read HH too? I need some sleep.

Alright here are the results, and some of my thoughts.

    1) The guy flipped 9To for the rivered straight. I do agree that a river bet probably is +EV, but on the river I figured a check would get missed hearts to bluff, as well as lose the minimum to the straight, or some weird combo of spades. Just had a feeling like that river card was bad for me, ya know? What would you guys have bet, and do you fold to any raise?

    2) The guy had 8c9c and MHWG. I agree that a flop bet would've been best here. Is there ever a time when it is appropriate to check this dry flop after getting 3 callers pre?

    3) He had 33 for the rivered boat. Now that you guys know I have the nuts (lol), is the turn check standard? Wouldn't this be a good time for a river overbet, say 2x pot?

    4) He flipped AKo and MHWG. Just goes to show that you shouldn't lay down KK pre without a read.

    5) In what circumstances (if any) is a flop call the best play?

hand 5. only call if you think opp is a pussy and would fold to strength. Otherwise its fine to me
