    Default Heads Up Aggressive Opponent

I like to play $10 or $20 sitngo tournaments, I'd say I'm ok at them, but no professional.

But sometimes I run into these opponents who are just extremely aggressive. Raising 80% of the time preflop, betting every flop, turn and usually river
If I try to play back at him most hands he just goes over the top when I have nothing.

If I sit quiet and wait for a hand, he just folds when I show him any action

What are some strategies to beat the aggressive heads up player when I am dealt no good cards.
Should I just wait for an ok hand and call him down?
Or try to trap him and if no good hands come just lose?

Well you said when you play into him he folds... so play it like your weak... flop TPGK and check, let him raise into you, pretend your thinking for a little bit and call, check agian let him make a bigger bet into you and push over the top... that would be my play because you are describing a very typical heads up player...
    I am that fish...

yeah so that was one of the things I was thinking, but everytime I miss the flop, he gets a chunk of my stack

so if I miss a few flops my stack is crippled

and then even if I do make that top pair somewhere down the line, I maybe get back to even when I take a bunch of chips back

calling to hit top pair is tricky because a few misses and his aggressive play is very effective

If u find u are getting chipped away at HU, the one option is to pick any hand u want to play and just move in pre-flop, take that edge away from your opp. Risky, but moves the onus back on to your opp. to make the big decisions.

    Push/Fold HU is fun.

Look up the Nash Equilibrium if you can't outplay your Op.
