What hands can he have here that beat me? I don't think anyone plays a set this way, I definitely don't have him on one.

I'm sure we can "find a better spot," but is this one good enough?

Jeeesus. I hate scenarios like this, where you've doubled up and now you could lose the lot. I usually seem to be on the losing side of them too.

AA or KK beat you but WTF? Who pulls a stop & go with that?
You say it's not a set, but 99 could maybe do this?
    Could be air...

    I just don't know.

    I 70/30 call/fold I think.

I'd prefer to keep my stack and let him have the $5 but I would hate doing it, i would put a note against the guy, and i would post the hand on here!

a little town called none of your goddamn business
I would make a weak fold.

I'd probably let this go and be weak because of the money involved...seems more like two pair (Q9) or a draw...certainly could be an overpair but wouldn't that at least be a little worried about you having QQ? Q9 would not be worried about that and would have to put you on at worst AQ - with KK and AA as his more likely guess.

Could certainly be a draw with TJ or some weaker pair going after you and hoping you really have an Ace and missed kicker.

99 is not out of the question if he is a thinking opp and hopes that you have a reasonably strong hand and will see his ridiculous move as a bluff or worse hand trying to push you off.

Somebody that tight will not put their entire stack on the line with nothing. He has something and has no post flop skillz, so he's just sticking it all in while ahead. Easy fold and wait for the next time.

GJ guys, you were all correct.

Villian showed AA and stacked me.

In retrospect I shouldn't have called. I omitted a stat because I didn't see it before I called (stupid), but he was 14/7/0.4. I was clearly beat.

He pulled the stop and go...I just didn't think he had it in his game. KK and AA didn't enter my head for him.

I still think I should have laid it, he could have played a set this way.

I talked myself into a call because I could only see him playing a queen that way, and I had them all tied or beat.

Taught me a lesson. Look at the freakin' aggression rating first. I'm a fishy that can get stacked with TPTK...

I ended this session up five buy-ins, but seven would have been a lot nicer.

AT 50nl I had a smilar thing happen to me but with two other guys in the pot, flop was 4,9,Q, 2 diamonds, the guy who pushed had KK, I had AQ, other guy had 44.

With those stack sizes, he wants a call. Just wait till next time when you have QQ and this situation arises.

You have 5.50 risked and stand to lose all of your hard work against someone who has you beat... does QJ or QK really make this play?

    Now, if the situation read:
Dealt to MissedMe [ Kd Ks ]

with that flop.... I may cry
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place

Yeah before I looked at the results I thought you have to make this lay unless you've seen this guy REPEATEDLY make such moves in a short time span, especially when there is no flush draw on the board.
