I figured there was little value in a turn bet, since I am only getting calls from better hands. I am better off checking behind and inducing a bet from the hands that I beat.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

It's the way I'd play it, so I think it's goood When people raise me on flop, happens quite often since I bet a lot, and then check behind on turn and bet river pretty strong, they usually don't have much. I rather fold to the same bet on turn than on river, depending on the river and the player of course though.

Be less inclined to play JT against hyper aggressive players. It looks pretty, but it's a bad hand for aggressive tables. Too often you get forced deep when outkicked or open ended.

Don't get me wrong though. I'm talking about intelligent hyper aggressive players. I definately think you SHOULD play it when your opponents are making an abundance of mistakes such as this guy. When I find someone like this my range opens up like a butterfly. The exact reason is he pays you off with stuff like 88 on 34T boards when you hold TP.

Just make sure your maniac isn't a shark or you'll learn why JT is bad against him within a few hands. The shark hooks you on a hand and makes up for lost value when he finds the spot.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
