Default Why LAG'tards win so g00t. (LC)

I am playing 40/20/2.5 here. Later McCurtain said he had AQ. I really thought he was gonna call the flop checkraise.
I am not sure I wanted him to.

What do you guys think of my play?

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

To answer your question, no i think villain is less inclined to call because he knows you will have to showdown your hand.

I don't think that answers my question.

What do you think my best post-flop play is? How do you play TPTK with >300bb stacks?

You anihilated your value. Your hand has implied odds against a very specific range on this flop. Namely Ax. You look like you're betting YOUR hand, and not the opponents. Is this a fair assessment? Bet the opponents range for them. Understand that they likely don't have AK. Feel the opponents search for your hand and deny them the information. What you did here is you announced your holdings to an opponent range quite clearly afraid of AK or ahead of it. No reasonable opponent calls you here without a hand that beats you, especially with a forced showdown.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I agree with you, but at the time, I really just wanted him to fold.
In the future I will try to play these big hands for more value.

I also am trying to extract some value on this particular flop.

I don't think a set is likely here, nor two pair yet. Ax is paying you, but I don't think you're behind hardly any hands.
