KK meets turn A. Low flop

    Default KK meets turn A. Low flop

    2nd hand at the table. Do you keep on betting that turn? How about the river? Im think i have to bet the turn but im pretty much always behind on that river.

    Looks like you played it pretty well to me. Its nice not to get a raise on the river, you won't see that much at later levels unless they think you are really setting a crazy trap.

    There are a few more variations you can throw in to mix it up. You can check the ace and then reraise big if they raise. This represents an ace and you can be pretty positive you are beat if they stay w/ you.

    Another way to play this is to just check it down and fold if they raise too much. This is a pretty weak play, but actually shows a pretty good profit in the long run if you are worried about decisions.

    Weird that he would call your turn bet unless he has at least an ace, set, or the flush draw...but there are plenty of fish out there who will play QJ/QT this way.

    Looks well played to me. JT looks just as likely here in which case you weren't getting any more out of him on the river so the check is fine.

    How do you play it when the river is Kc ?
