    Default 0.25/0.50 NL live game...

so i've been displaying a tight aggresive image the entire night... haven't lost a single showdown in the session...

at one point a exposed a lay down of bottom 2 pair on the river after a raise which personally don't think it was a bad lay down... especially since the guy just cold calls my raise after the turn and after that he said i had him beat but he didn't show so i think he was lying... anyways this same person is on my right...

i'm in the big blind with :Ac::Td:

UTG calls someone in mid called and SB calls... i simply check...

    the flop comes:
    :Ts::Ah::Ks:

    SB checks...
    i check...
    UTG mucks?.. X-D
    mid position bets 2.00
    SB raises to 5.00

    i raise to 13.00

    mid position folds...

SB sits there for a little bit... and then pushes...

we both had about the same size stack...

    how would you react here?...

these are the things than ran through my head:
no raise before the flop? clearly no pocket tens.. no AK...
it is a possibility that he would have Q J but why would he re raise with the nuts if clearly i'm not on any kind of draw if i'm re raising... wouldn't he just call?...
is he trying to make a play at me since he knows i'm a tight player?... i concluded he had Ax suited of spades and called....

he flips over :Qd::Jc: and of all the cards to pair it had to be the king... so i lost the pot...

my question is did i make a bad call?... i guess it was one of those situations where i'm either way ahead or way behind... would anyone else play it differently?..

Well I would've probably bet 1st instead of check - you will hate yourself if it gets checked around. Why wouldn't you think TT is a possibility? Is it just you know how they play? Cuz TT isn't an auto-raise hand I don't think. Have you seen SB go in with sub-par holdings yet? My first reaction was that since the SB check-raised he probably has better than a pair and the only 2 pair hand you beat is KT. I think I might push JQ in his case too because it looks like you really like your hand right now and will have a hard time getting rid of it. You're probably way behind here more often than not.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

SB was a very intellegent player... not a donk... if he saw everyone limping with him with TT in he's not gonna let them in the pot with overs or suited cards so they would could catch and beat him when he has the best hand at the time...

if i had decided to fold i would've shown him and told him next time he gets cute with me i'm gonna call him lol...

i'm trying to decide if i made a bad call or got out played....

you made a bad call and got outplayed. he obviously has no fold equity, and i dont see any hand that 4-bets all in on this flop that AT beats except KT if the player is terrible.
