Can someone please please please reconcile these two things for me.
A) Bush is an idiot
B) Bush masterminded 9/11 so that he could take over the middle east.

its not so crazy to think that a high ranking US government official would come up with a plan to destroy american buildings/kill american civilians to blame it on an enemy so that they have a pretext for attacking. There was an interesting story about a general putting a plan on Kennedy's desk wherein a couple of US buildings would be bombed, and it would be blamed on Cuba, giving the US a clearcut reason for a full invasion. Kennedy said no. Bush put in that position would not be so quick to dismiss the idea in my opinion. |

the whole bush was behind 9/11 is so f'ing stupid it's unbelievable. yeah, our president committed the greatest act of treason in the history of our country which pulled over $1 TRILLION out of the economy and somehow nobody can prove it. Nobody has come forward. An operation that was planned worldwide and there's no credible proof to it. | |

not saying bush wouldnt turn down the plan, necessarily. just saying that he would have more people pushing him to take that line than kennedy. also trying to point out that such a plan has been examined in the past as a means to an end. i dont think the bush administration would be capable of actively committing this act, logistically that is. |

also would like to point out that releasing the name of an active covert CIA agent is a pretty fucking big act of treason. and this was done over some petty vendetta with the agent's husband. imagine the treasonous acts they would be willing to do for something bigger. |
