He checks, cold calls a raise then decides to raise himself when he realises people like their hand. So you'd think you were beat here. Especially since at $5nl lots of hands that would call preflop (8x :P) beat you here.

However in future you should bet/raise more. I'd pot it on the flop. Also, if you're going to fold to a strong bet on the turn (which more than likely will come) you might as well fold on the flop.

Agreed. Newbies love to min-raise w/ their trips. Good fold. I do think you should bet more on the flop.

I bet the standard 50% of the pot on the flop. Is this not enough when I have AA?

there is not a standard amount to bet a random flop- your bet size should vary based on flop texture, position, number of opponents, and perceived opponents hand ranges.
Here a bet of 2/3 to 3/4 pot would be good.

You want to bet more than half the pot because you have two others in with you. Even if you're not beat yet, you really don't want to see the turn card here with AA because the board is so draw heavy.

At $5nl I usually raised huge amounts with AA, KK preflop and usually got people pushing with A9 Have you tried that? The preflop raise is 4xbb, but I don't think it gets much respect at 20c (not your fault).

i dont hink i like the min reraise on the flop either. min anything is usually bad.

dont minraise ever. dont bet half the pot on the flop when theres a suited connector on the board and 3 people in the hand, the odds of someone drawing are pretty damn good and you are giving them perfect odds
