Feels like he had higher pockets or JJ, or did I make a misstake?

Is this heads up? I guess it's very read dependant, but AJ, KJ, QJ, TT, and many others may make this same play. Or maybe even a flush semi-bluff?

Re-raise more PF, don't bet so much on the flop. As played: call and bet into him on the next round.

NM, I just noticed the stack sizes. If he's been passive, fold. Otherwise push.

Thing is that I got QQ before the button had gone around since I sat down so I didn't know what kin of player he was. But judgeing from how he played afterwards he had me beat since he was very passive. I think I made a good laydown.

I doubt he had higher pockets. He would have reraised you w/ AA or KK preflop most likely. Only JJ beats you here. It is really read dependant but he could also just have paired his jack and think that you are making a c-bet w/ AK. I have made this laydown in the past and it has been shown to me that it was a poor decision.
Also, if you are planning on folding to a reraise, then bet less than $7. You are reallying leaving your children out there. Maybe fire like $4 out and fold to a reraise but $7 is alot to leave on the table.

Looks like a good laydown. Your line screams big pair and he doesn't seem to care. Without a read, I fold here.

    Default AJ

Your flop bet makes it look like your making a play at the pot. AJ is pushing you here, if he is loose call, if he is tight you have a much harder decision.

    1. raise more pre-flop please
    2. bet less on flop
    3. good fold after a 3x raise on top of your overbet

Note: there's usually not a good reason to overbet the pot (on the river with a great hand is about the only time i do it i think). it sucks for you to bet that much and then get raised out of the hand. if you had bet $3-$4 and he raised then it would be easier for you to call and lead the turn but after your overbet you will commit yourself if you continue on.
