    Default Fold this set?

Villian seems like decent lagg (KungHenke).

Well, KK prolly reraise PF, so the only hand you're worried about is 1010, which likely would've reraised, too. Regardless, call.

    Default Re: Fold this set?

You have 19 left behind, and there's 110 in the pot, so you are getting almost 6:1 pot odds.
If villain has a bigger set you will win about 4% of the time, so in that case the EV of your call is about -14. If we assume that you have about 75% equity against villain's non-set holdings then the EV of calling is about +80 when villain does not have set. For a call to be -EV you therefore need to be about 85% certain that villain has a set rather than two pair, TPTK + FD, OESD + FD, gutshot + FD or whatever.

Easy call, only really worried about TT here, KK is raising you preflop. Im guessing the guy is usually flipping AJ+ of diamond heres.

Results : Villain turned over 10-10 for my 5th set over set in past 7 flopped sets. GG Variance.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Easy call, espeically on a draw heavy board like this, he could be semi-bluffing.

open folding the flop is much better so you don't get yourself in trouble when the flush hits

I prefer to open fold when I see that my flush hits, that way I won't risk getting stacked by boats and all that.

I would still probably never fold but thought this might be at the very least marginal. It just reeked of set over set with EP leading out, me coming overtop (sreaming set/2 pair) and decent lagg going ballistic ai. It can't be 33 since I have 33 so it's either monster draw or another set. 10 10 def capable of smooth calling preflop and have been smooth-called 6-7 times in past 3k hands by various players' AA/KK preflop on this site. So believe it or not, IMO top trips is possible as well.

I still go broke every time here. But...

Note to self : no more posting HH when it was an obvious call and you're just pissed cuz you got out-monstered.

I dont think it reeks of set over set to me. I instacall.
