Hand 1: I bet $12 on the flop and sometimes check that turn. Depends on what I think of UTG+2.
Hand 2: Bet the flop, as played re-raise turn.
Hand 3: Fold pre-flop. Wow that spot sucks. I think I fold this. Nothing pot and you're either a little ahead or WAY behind. If I gamble here it's because I think I'm dealing with a retarded short-buy.

    first hand is good
second hand you minraised which is totally lame in that spot. try to build the pot and get all the money in on turn

first hand: This flop sucks. This hand is so dependant on what UTG+2 is like. Just realize that a large part of your range is better then what you actually hold. I think it's usually OK but I don't expect you to win at showdown.

2nd hand: fold preflop. Do something else on the flop, this is terrible. I prefer a strong lead but if you must check, then bomb it when the action is back on you.

3rd hand is so messed up
does it check to you on the flop?

regardless, preflop is a gross, just fold man. Sure it's a minraise but you have 89o and the guy has half a stack.

what I do on the flop depends a lot on the opponent. I'd probably just stick it in and hope for the best since the guy only has half a stack and it's a raised pot where we have 2p.

That's just a terrible flop for bottom 2 pair.

well we're not behind a whole lot of hands, but the problem is that if we are behind, we're basically crushed. When I first read the HH it really looked to me like the other guy was trying to protect his overpair (which still has a lot of outs against us). I dunno, you're probably right, but I think it's closer then you think. Could be an overpair, straight, combo draw like 8sxs or KT or something, 2 spades, better 2 pair, set, lots of stuff.

fwiw I think we're usually good here but it's just that we're a big favorite over pretty much nothing and a huge dog when behind. You're probably right in that we should dump this...

Isn't an important part of big bet poker NOT geting lots of money into the pot in spots like that? (unless the pot is large relative to the amount of money that figures to go into the pot.)

    Your loosing, lolololololololololol
    1) Raise the flop more. Otherwise, I guess it's good, but dunno. Do you win here 1 out of every 4 times?

    2) Why checkraise this flop? Also, just shove over his turn raise. There are too many cards that can kill your action on the river.

    3) Ewww. Umm. Well, it looks like he's trying to push you off TP, like he has A10, but whenever I get fancy and try to interpret bets this way, I usually get smoked. Whatever the case, I don't think it's really worth getting involved here...
