Not bad since I think if you raise him on the turn he's folding. I think you should min-raise him on the river just to mess with him if you are confident he didn't hit a straight or flush -which seems highly unlikely. He would look and feel like a moron whether he calls or folds.

this seems like one of those situations everyone on here talks about where you just let a worse hand keep bluffing into you - if you raise turn you might not get that extra $140 bet on river - I think you maximized it well. Can I ask you why you didn't raise the river? Is the 3 diamonds (despite being runner runner) and a possible straight (again, runner runner) put a scare into you? did you think you might be beat on river?

Set or fold is the normal line yes.

This hand is different though because it only involves the SB and BB. When only the blinds are involved like this there is less chance of either person having a real hand and a higher chance that they are trying to bluff each other. Thus, the value of an actual hand, like 55 mediocre as it is, goes up.

Hero called the flop, not because he was looking to set on the turn, but because he didn't believe that the villan had made a pair on the flop, (I presume).
