Open limping in the C/O and button
I have recently decided to try and take up 6max. I normally play FR $200 but decided to step down to the $50 to get my feet wet. I have tried searching back and looking for advice and there are 2 common things said which I think are contradictory.
"Never openlimp" and "NLHE is all about postflop play"(referring to not always open raising). So I find myself preferring the latter and open limping alot. It does depend on who the blinds are though. If they are loose/passive calling stations I tend to open limp one gap SCs, SCs, suited A's/K's, basically lots of implied odds hands. If they are loose/aggressive, tight/aggressive, or tight/passive I normally raise. As I move up I realize I should change this but @ the $50 is this ok?
