    Default Strange 87s hand

villain here just sat down a few hands ago, no HUD stats on him yet. My question here is not about folding.

Hmm, only KQ and Q8 beats you here, none of them very likely (if decent UTG would fold Q8 and raise KQ prf). I think you'll see UTG have twopair or a set very often here. The pot is big enough for pushing, the question is though: will he call more than 50% with hands you beat? Against an unknown I think pushing is best- but because I'm weak and I only see monsters checkraise rivers I'm inclined to just call.

It's close between shoving or just calling. If you think he is raising with two pair or a set, by all means shove. On this occasion I'd probably just call. I also bet bigger on the river, something like $9.

You might consider raising the flop for value and for a free card.

River is very odd. I might just call, as this looks a lot like a fish with the nuts. I don't think a set or two pair are played like this very often by an unknown.

I would raise a rainbow board but a bet and a call I'm inclined to just try to hit my hand for as cheap as possible. I thought his play was very odd for what he held, JTdd. I just called.
