he is that over how many hands?

if that's reliable, looks ok, raise a few bucks more preflop though. with ak i don't want to have to think about my flop call/bet with so much in the pot.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Well the $1 raise pre-flop is my standard for whatever hand I have and try not to change it unless there are more limpers before me.

Turns out he turned over KK there, so wanted to see if anyone else would play it differently againt someone with those stats since I have been having trouble against Laag players the last few days and just seem to be either losing big hands or winning small hands.

For instance on this table I was only getting played back at when I was beat, but nearly always by people showing down 67, 98, etc and hitting their straight or two pair...guess I looked at this guy and just immeadiatly put him as making a move on me so played back, just happened to be at the wrong time.

Had you seen him 3bet light preflop before? If not, then this is usually always AA/KK at micros

probably haven't seen him do it enough to make my move non-donkish.

Pretty much knew it was at the time, mainly posted here to have a permanent reminder of one of the most stupid plays I have made so far so I can look back on it and give myself a wakeup call when I need it.

Having said that, would be nice to see if it is the correct way to play against those sort of players, as long as you know when to get out that is.

My question is: How likely is villian folding pre-flop to a 3rd raise without a hand? Also, how likely is he to reraise (a legitimate raise) without a hand? Given his stats I think the 3rd raise is fine.

But, there is no way you are ahead on the flop, and I don't see him folding anything that would call a 3rd raise for half his stack.

In essence, it seems like you wanted to get it all in preflop.

First thing, reload to $25 preflop.

Id just call the reraise preflop. Your first raise was fine, maybe make it $1.25, but thats not a huge deal really. Your 3bet was fairly weak and even though your opponent has a wide range [we dont know how many hands those stats are over though], what is he going to call a 3bet with? The flop brings a very coordinated board which you are only ahead of a worse unpaired hand and that hand would be something like AQ, but its pretty unlikely somebody [even with those stats] is calling all those bets with AQ. Id check/fold this flop.
