    probably bet/fold.

I don't mind checking for the free card here either.
    If I had a hammer
    I'd drop in the morning
    I'd drop in the evening..

    fold preflop to the $30

it isn't even close (edit: unless you have a read that he's a maniac)

As played, check behind on the flop.

I just sat down, so no reads... fold to the 30? Not even close? I guess this is one of those situations I don't come across often and actually don't really know the right play here... your reasoning?

As played and I check the flop, if a blank turns, and he leads:

    Small bet... $10?
    Regular bet $35-$40?

    What are my moves?

It sucks playing big unpaired unsuited cards with 1/6 of the effective stack preflop, because:

    1. You will have no pair 2/3 of the time.
    2. Whenever you do make a pair, you have to worry about being dominated by an overpair or a set.

That being said, its usually weak to fold AKo to just any reraise.

However this was a LIMP-RERAISE which is almost invariably AA, sometimes KK, and occasionally QQ/AKs.

As for postflop, theres just no way this guy doesn't have a pocket pair, so for me there's nowhere to go with this hand but into the muck.

    himself fucker.
Check behind, the second most popular hands to do the limp-reraise are smaller pairs that just see the opportunity to really go hard.

Basically, every hand he's got has got you beat and will probably not mind checking here to try and induce one bet from your AK or maybe a JJ TT to commit themselves.

People seem to love doing this move and I've finally learned to get out of the way.
