What would you change if you knew Villain was 13/4 and passive (small sample)?

Preflop: I believe many people will raise a suited connector on the button with no raises before them. Sometimes I do, but not all the time.

Flop: Call is fine. With one caller in front of you, the pot is already building for when/if you hit your str8. Bonus for SB calling. Perfect spot to call in this multiway pot with your hand in my book.

Turn: Either Re-Raise or fold. Its funny I just wrote a post asking about the benefits of calling. I don't think this is one of those times where calling benefits you. Raise to make him define his hand.

River: I'm not sure about this one, since I would have raised the turn. I think I would have bet 1/3 the pot; but that is just by feel. I can't back up the descision statisticaly.

13/4? That seems way to tight for short handed. Many people raise with what he enters a pot with. Not much faith in this number, especialy since it is small sample. But oif it were reliable, I would say it forces a bet earlier in the hand, say the turn.

How likely to you think it is that your pair of 7's is good on the river?

I see nothing wrong with limping here. I think it's better than raising after multiple limpers, actually.

Dont you have showdown value with this hand? I mean, wont checking behind and winning the hand with a pair of 7s be more EV than trying to bluff out opponents better hands?

Also make the river bet more like $30, its only 7 more than your bet and much more likely to get your opponent to fold. $23 is easily called by many opps after a checkcallfest
