Fold flop if villain is solid. He wouldn't bluff you out of a pot that isn't even his.

Otherwise just call and fold the turn.

bad, your beat, on the flop he could easily have an overpair don't even try to raise.

How would a substantial preflop reraise work? Something like $50-$60? That puts a lot of pressure on the Villian to start the hand. If Villian pushes you can fold easy. As played you have to fold the flop. Also, if you were willing to put that much money in, why not just push preflop?

For those curious about the results I folded and he showed 77, basically the only possible holding I could have beat to take the pot. I do see now that calling on the flop is the best option though. Thanks for the replies.

    arennhack folds.
    ** Dealing River ** [ 4c ]
    LokoIvan shows [ 7d, 7h ] a pair of sevens.
itsdanielk shows [ Jh, Jd ] a pair of jacks.
LokoIvan wins $362.54 from side pot #1 with a pair of sevens.
itsdanielk wins $51.70 from the main pot with a pair of jacks.

Just fold the flop. Obviously he's not bluffing, so what does he have that you can beat?

I really can't think of a reason to raise.

Why? Risk $50 just to obtain a probable coinflip against the all-in player? He has eights here, not queens.
