    Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with K Q

    Easy fold. I often check the turn since you don't even really want to get called here if you make a reasonable bet.

    Felt like set/flush would raise the flop, also a set wasn't very likely with KK/QQ cold calling preflop.

    The T didn't complete an obvious straight draw, but I see now that AJ/JA makes perfect sense. Anyway, I put him on either a flopped flush but more likely some 2p/pair+draw type of hand so I pushed.

    Results, Villain showed TT and took the pot.

    If he just calls the flop, then you can probably say "He probably doesn't have a flush or a set," but you have more information than that. He called the flop, then raised the turn. Even if he usually raises the flop with a set or flush, it's entirely possible that he usually has a flush when he calls the flop then raises the turn, and I think that's the case with my opponents.
