    Dealt to Staresy [Qd Qc]
wxf raises to $1 .... am almost certainly re-raising this gimp; he way overvalues marginal hands and he could easily make this sort of raise w/ KJ, A Rag or a smaller pp
    mvick12 calls $1
    DRAGONIA folds
CameroonWrappa raises to $3 ... this is where the trouble starts. He has won his stack by stacking KK by hitting a set of 6s and has been fairly tight, with the occasional limp of 9T in position, so I would credit him with some sort of hand here, but it could be TT+
    D-Luxe folds
    Staresy .....

With a full stack Id always call this and re-evaluate on the flop, playing for set value wouldnt be horrible without better reads. With your stack I call if I were fairly sure UTG wouldnt reraise, in position I dont really like a fold.

Because otherwise were going into the flop with no information and a multiway pot with a strong HU hand but quite poor multiway hand.

Id actually talk about isolating here folding to a push, by no means do i suggest it as the right line but the pot is already a mess.

No not just set value, difficult spot but i think if you reraise preflop you are making it hard for him to make a mistake as he will most likely put you on AA\KK\QQ and play accordingly.

What do you think he will put you on if you cold-call? Do you think he's felting JJ/TT on a 225 flop? You're hand isn't exaclty well disguised if you cold-call.

I'd lean toward a fold here, assuming your read that the RR'er is a tight/solid player. Of course we have position, but we are putting in 1/7 of our stack pf. Depending on what you think his exact range is, this is probably close to neutral EV decision, call or fold.

Your hand might not be that well disguised if you cold call but at least you still have some room to manoeuvre whereas if you reraise preflop you are putting in half your stack.

Folding seems so weak but if he is really that tight (AA/KK/AK) then i guess it is the correct play. If his range is AA-TT\AK then you should call, out of position it would most likely be a fold though if he is good postflop.

Call with the intention of folding without a set unless something suggests they both wiff the flop.

it's close enough proflop with implied odds vrs pot odds to call if he has AA and if he doesnt, then thats cool becuase we're still in the pot.
