Default KK facing a raise - advice needed?

    Hi,

    This came up yesterday:

50 NL villain is loose/aggressive early position. couple of limpers between.
Hero is button with KK. Hero raises 3 preflop. Villain calls.

    Flop: Qd,Qj,4c

    Villain checks
    Hero bets 5
    Villain raises to 10.

    Hero?

    Min c-r is very weird.

Can't really put him on QQ or AQ with no raise/re-raise pf if he's aggressive as you say.

I think the c-r is a tester to see where you're head is at, since I can't see him playing Q4 from EP.....pocket 4's is a possibility and probably most likely as his hand if he has anything.

I'd call here, see what turn brings and see if he leads out at it. If he checks and it's not a K I'd check behind (hell I might do this anyway if a K comes to indicate it didn't help). If he leads out at you then look at pot odds for guidance on wether to see the river.

If you think you have him beat here though push, put him to a decision but at this stage I'd like to just call and make my decision after the river just because it could give more options (eg if a 3rd Q comes then his set of 4's are counterfeited and you take the lead again.)

If you put something like QJ, KQ in his range of limp hands from EP then need to treat a little more carefully, but with a min c-r I'm pretty much calling here as opposed to re-raising.

What suit is the middle card on the flop? I'd call here and re-evaluate on the turn. Has this guy been caught bluffing? Also consider checking behind on this flop too.

    Default I donked it up

    Middle card Qh (typo).

Villain had been aggressive and caught bluffing several times.
I really did not put him on QQ,AQ or 44 so I donked this up
and put him allin after flop. He called with QT offsuited.

i don't think you can just fold the flop, but I just call and hope to showdown cheap. I fold to most significant turn bets and check behind obv if possible.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

If he doesnt give you credit for a real hand then wouldnt that be an argument to atleast call?
