If you are shortstacking the games then this is a good way to play it, if you have a full stack Id reraise preflop and lead that flop.

Yeah, I don't buy in shortstacked--I had just lost a buyin with AA and didn't have $ at the site to rebuy.

a little town called none of your goddamn business
This is a bad flop to c/r IMO. Not many hands you beat will call.

With your stack is standard to go broke here though. Then again, with your stack i would have tried to get AI preflop.

Is getting worse hands to call our main concern here, though? With a vulnerable overpair like QQ isn't taking down a medium-ish pot here an acceptable result? I was putting button on, like, AJ and UTG on who knows.

utg limper then a button raiser and you have QQ oop.
The way you played this is precisely the reason too many people get stacked with overpairs oop on nice flops.

As you played it you call the raise and let UTG in too so what happens if you check, UTG checks, button bets you raise and UTG pushes? Your pot odds will be horrible and youre more than likely on two outs.

For sure reraise preflop and looking at your stack i might just dump it in the middle anyway as youre in no way folding any flop if you reraise to 18-22 odd with a 57 stack that leaves 35 behind and probably 40 in the pot post flop.

If opp has QQ beaten preflop then meh, you lost only half a buy in but consider your actions here with your stack size and OOP
