If it were impossible that opponent has AK/AQ/AJ/KQ you still have 10 outs to clearly the best hand.

The guy has made a continuation bet to a checked pot in position, re-raise to $12 if he pushes then call with the odds.

He should fold his overcards to this raise and if he has a set or str8 already then bad luck, re-buy.

Folding here is too weak imo.

If he is folding his overcards but pushing with a set or a straight, why would we call a push? A check/raise puts in like half of the effective stack and would make it hard for us to get away from a push, why not check call?

I like a flop call here, too. Lack of great pot odd is compensated by odd size of bet. If he does have an over-over-pair or even a set, you stand to to stack him if you hit. Only thing that sucks about calling is that an Ace on the turn sucks.

You'll also not going to get paid off if you hit one of your 10 outs.

Raising commits Hero to call a push.. Pushing is fine if Villain can fold an overpair.

Well if we knew he had the nut str8 we would fold but we've got the odds to call after the raise.

I personally dont like the call because this pot is winnable and by just calling the only way that will happen is by hitting on the turn or hoping opponent checks behind.

Is opponent going to check behind on turn? If we think so then a call is fine but I still would hate to think that a worse hand ie AK won this pot without being tested.
