I have been thinking about incorporating the same thing into my game, esp in position, because its one thing that gives me a little trouble. However, this doesn't look like a good idea against this guy, because he looks like he has a hand that he doesn't want to get away from on the turn. Any stats or reads on this guy that made him look like a good target to float against? As played after flop, i think it looks good. Villain flips AA or KK?

I think the floating attempt is pretty noble, but man, you really gotta give up on the river... that was a waste of 60 bucks.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
    its fine.
i assume you were floating on 12 outs by bluffing the flush too? and instead hit the money out and got paid.

    ugh?

This all looks good to me... funny i was just reading about this in T & P.
If MP3 is a solid tagg then T9s is a good hand to make a positional call with. the flop gives hero the gutshot, villian makes standard C-bet, unless hero puts him on 2 spades the float is good to see what he does on a blank turn and hero's getting good implied odds ... BOOM hero hits his hidden draw and gets paid off nicely... nh sir
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.
