Default Does 1/2 pot just not do it for a cont bet anymore? (25NL)

My standard continuation bet is 1/2 the pot. I play 25 NL on Paradise and recently i've been noticing my cont bets aren't working as often, even on very uncoordinated, good texture flops. I just kept going with it, not really thinking about what's going on. Then yesterday, I made my standard cont bet with AK OOP on a pretty uncoordinated flop, J high i think. I was called by a very passive player (according to poker tracker). Turn was a K, i checked and he a little more than half the pot, i called. river was blank, he bet half the pot again and i called, He showed a complete bluff. This from a passive player.

My question is just have you guys noticed that continuation betting has gotten harder to pull off at lowish stakes?

I stopped c-betting 1/2 pot a long time ago. It looks like what it is. I bet 2/3+, pot if it's small.

i bet 2/3rds the pot and c-betting has been going this way for a long time.

When i first joined FTR a year ago early discussions were about c-betting in the right place eg on a Jxx or Qxx or Kxx flop. Now a lot of our new players automatically c-bet after raising without really thinking about it.
C-betting and set lines have become so well used that they hardly work anymore when they need to because of the simple reason they are so over-used.
Im of the opinion that the most usefull tactic at small limits and perhaps some medium limits now is checking (to call or raise) rather than just bet bet betting.

Ok at 25nl and 50nl sets will still get paid by overpairs but at slightly larger stakes its just so 'predictable' if you arent playing against a bunch of fish.

2/3 - 3/4. I always interpret 1/2 pot bets as scared, which they often are.

Never read any stickies or announcements
I vary up the size based on a lot of things like stack sizes, players and reads of players in the pot, flop texture, randomness, misinformation etc. Usually though it hovers around 3/4 pot. It's very rarely half pot or less or full pot or more. A lot of times it's 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, somewhere in there, and again, depends on a ton of factors. 'feel' sums it up.
