Weird AA hand

Villain is 31%/12%/2.3 over 224 hands.

I played this ugly, but-- I figure i'm either WB a set or ahead of another PP that's trying to push me off AK or AQ (I'm not sure if I should be including 54 in this villain's range. I considered it, for sure). It feels like I should raise somewhere, but what's the advantage to doing that? With the villain betting 2/3-ish each street I didn't see the point in raising and blowing him out of the hand when I'm ahead or getting married to the pot when I'm behind. If he were 20%/7%/1.0 do you consider folding the turn? You have to figure we're good here when he checks the river, right?

You have to raise that flop. If SB calls, then check/call a safe turn. If SB 3-bets the flop, you can dump.

Did you know you had a loose table? If you did, raise more preflop, because you want to get AA HU. 213 hands.. you should know if your table is loose or tight, raise more preflop in this case.

Looks like another PP, like 1010, beeing worried about the J and checking after the river. I would check behind though too, I don't think I will be called by worse hands often enough. I wouldn't rule out a set, but it seems less likely given the action post flop. 56 is definately thinkable, but who bets draws and checks straights on the river, especially after leading flop and turn?

I would consider raising the flop aswell, but you might get a push from as little as 99 and lay down the strongest hand. Looking for a cheap showdown is not the worst idea either. But if you intend to push anyway, better do it on the turn.

Yes, raise more preflop if you tend to get as many callers. Raising to much gives away a lot of information though, you don't want everyone to know you have rockets.
