I think Flop moves in this spot should be almost evenly divided between pot-sized bets and checks, unless some other factor inclines you one way or the other.

Great point. What's needed is a realistic range for this PFR, and a sub-range of hands that would raise a PSB here. On an estimate I'd say if 1/3 to 1/4 of reasonable hands would raise the bet, it's the right play with these stacks... sound slike a job for some piece of software I don't have, though.

I dont mind leading or checking here, on a wetter bored this would be a standard lead here you dont really need to protect against much.

What do you think he will put you on if you check/call or check/raise? I think hed probably see that as more strength than leading here. So I like the lead, but Id probably make it closer to a PSB.

I think I check here cuz if I'm brand new at the table I assume people will give me credit for my bets. If noone builds a pot then I'll donk overbet the river here, you know, make a good donkelicious impression from the start!

I'd check here because if you bet most likely whiffed flops aren't betting. You'll recieve information on the flop by a bet and be able to play it better from there.

id like the lead here simply because if pfr'er has something like an overpair or tp he'll prob raise/call your bet as you can seem like a tp type hand betting out.

lead as default. I would almost never CR on that board, only check call. but I would wait for a reason before I started checking.

I almost always bet and don't stop until stack = inside pot. You can cr, but that tends to cut off the action, whereas leading gives lots of ways to make this pot get out of control, which is what you want.

Yeah I definitely am with Bmxicle on this one. Donk it out right away and built it up. 3/4 of the pot is perfect to start with. Check-raising gives away the strength of your hand and scares ppl. Donking it out is juicy and ppl never put you on such strength.

against that many opponents, such a strong lead seems like a lot of strength though. especially on that board. only TPGK, 2 pr, and overpair are going to give you much action (str8 draw too i guess). i think a weak lead might be a better course of action. you are new to the table, and i always assume that players i dont know are bad and transparent, and do things like lead weak into many players in a weak attempt to steal a pot or price their draw.
that way if you get raised you can CR the turn, which at that time will probably have your opp committing a good portion of their stack.
as played with the strong flop bet, if you get called you can pretty safely just bet it straightforward on the turn at least.

I've taken to leading out weakly in these situations with a 1/2 potter in the hope of inducing a raise. Seems to work.
