    raise more preflop

I probably bet/fold this on the turn, not being results oriented.

wouldnt i be pot committed on turn if i bet, especially if i raised to 4 pf instead of 3 and given his stack size??

    i dunno its tough,

the turn is a horrible card for you.

BTW the more you raise pf, the more you can get all in after the flop and not care if you won or lost.

I would raise bigger preflop to about $3.50-4 total, and bet 3/4 pot on the flop. The turn is a shitty card but I don't see folding as a viable option here given stack sizes. I would bet/call or check-raise all in if I thought he would bet. Looks ok though.

My standard pfr at stars 100NL is 4x, and i rarely deviate from that, except for perhaps raising it a bit if I have fishy limpers hanging around. I would expect that to be the minimum at a party monster table as well.

I agree with aislephive, there's no way I'm getting away from this, I lead all streets and call any raises. He's a shorty, I tend to get shorties all in quite often.

Can't this depend on the type of shorty? Most shorties I have played with are usually horrible. And call alot. The other type of shorty, which I have only seen a few times, is the push or fold shorty.

If you think the guy might call, push preflop.

But I suppose this is read dependant and not answering the hand question; I would push the flop with this hand. Don't let them get lucky; Make them try to get lucky.
