Anyone wanna do an NFL pick 'em league?

    Default Anyone wanna do an NFL pick 'em league?

    This may not be the correct forum, I just ask please leave it here for a few days so everyone sees it.. then move it if necessary..

    Also I don't think it is against the rules...

    So basically, every year me and my friends do a Yahoo Pick 'Em league along with the fantasy football nonsense... I know there was a thread about FTR fantasy football, but not everyone wanted in... SO basically, I was thinking maybe we could get some people from here in the Pick Em league.

    I thought some people might want to because it isn't as demanding as fantasy football, as all you do is pick the winners each week. It is very easy and user friendly on Yahoo, so who is interested?!

    If you are... here are the details:

    (For the League ID and Password to join, please PM or contact me via aim/yahoo)

    - $20 for the year Due by Week 1
    - Prizes are:
    1st - 40% (With 15 $120)
    2nd - 20% (With 15 $60)
    3rd - 10% (With 15 $30)
    $5 to each weekly winner
    - Get as many people to register as you can (that are actually going to pay)
    - IM (aim/yahoo givememyleg) or PM for details

    You can pay via Pokerstars/PartyPoker/PayPal/Neteller

    Also forgot to add, if anyone from FTR happens to win, I will transfer the winnings to them in anyway they want (probably just the way they sent the money).

    pick em league is where you pick 1 team a week and can only pick each team once, right?

    No, you pick who is going to win between all 16 games each week... Like Pittsburgh over Miami.... Whoever has the highest score at the end of the season is the winnar.

    First game is Thursday Sept 7.

    Last year "dead money" took 2nd in the league.

    Just wondering...

    I'm kinda interested, but at the same time, I think it would be SUPER tedious. Of course, that's what I do with a spread anyway, so...

    Nah man, I'm not gonna rob you (or anyone else) of $20 lol. This forum is too much for me to steal a few bucks. If you wanna be a part of it cool, but if you don't wanna take the risk, that's cool too. Should be fun though!

    Under 2 weeks until game 1... there were some maybes, just bumping to remind/see if anyone is still interested.

    We have only 10 total members, about 10 maybes, and my goal is somewhere in the ballpark of 15-20. PM me for league info.
