    No real reads here, just got in this table a few minutes ago.

    There are a million hands that would raise on button there. There is 1 feasable hand that beats you.

    Never fold.

    The idiot end of the straight to me is if you have 4 cards in a row on the board and you have one card that completes that straight, on the bottom end.

    I thought after it may have been a bad fold, but with a call, call, then a raise, I figured I was beat.
    I've also been trying to play a little tighter/better , but seem to still be sucking ass.

    That is NOT the idiot end of a straight.

    I haven't read what happened yet, but...

    A set would bet like that; an overpair would bet like that. SHITLOADS OF HANDS WOULD BET LIKE THAT.

    Don't fold that on the flop...

    I know being oop and seeing that may look like trouble, but you need to work on putting people on ranges instead of single hands. The range of hands people will call or raise here (one pair+ basically) is wide enough for you to not fold, and actually 3bet the flop before a 4-to-str8 card hits.
