Villain is 66/21/3.55 after ~60 hands. I wasn't sure what to do on the turn but I felt like calling was bad and even if I was behind I have lots of 2pair/set/str8 outs. As my title said I had no idea what to do in this spot so I went the opposite of my nitty ways and check/raised.

Isnt this a fold? 88 99 22, j9, j8 beets you, AA KK 10Q are possible but ulikely as you hold the Q.

Im just questioning this call because OPP in ring love to call with any 2 cards and burn up chips to implied odds.

The only thing I worry about is giving villain a free card on the turn. Otherwise I guess its a good move, never really do it much myself but I also don't play for stacks as much as everyone here does.

At these stakes they just dont take the free card, and in particular NL players dont do it.

Against this kind of opponent this hand is kinda standard. Against a loose passive I would lead out instead though
