thats a very good article but i think he left out something important. he says something like 'yea so you have to fold your 86o to a 3 bet' and goes on to explain sometimes you can 4 bet bluff. BUT he never mentions tightening up your PF raising standards with a light 3 bettor behind you.

since i play alot with the same regulars, they have seen me play alot of hands and have a pretty defined image for me. however, they dont adapt from session to session. i can tighten up when they are on my left, and they still will think they are being cute when they 3 bet me with trash, but it wont bother me because im much more likely to play back at them since im raising a narrower range.

I read it too some time ago, good stuff but he could go into more detail about the subject, like how making bigger raises PF and thus forcing your opponents to 3-bet you bigger thus creating more money in the pot for your possible pushes and thus increasing your EV (if they dont adjust by calling by a couple of more hands) etc etc. Gotta read it a couple of more times and think about the subject from different angles. I should prolly write some stuff about this but I just hate making EV calculations eventhough I am make pretty good estimations out of my head.

Yes please do. I really struggle in these areas. It's probably one of my biggest problems when dealing with 400NL.
