Hey all,

Just started a blog... my wife and I love the game, but we are at a point in our lives where we can't waste money on poker anymore - so BrokerPoker is about our time and experiences in the world of TINY limits and freerolls...

We also both opened new accounts on different sites that give you a free $10. Come read up and see who makes a million in six months, and who has to blow the homeless (i.e. play the free Limit SnGs on Everest to win 5 cents so they can buy into a 5 cent No Limit SnG)

You're not supposed to "spend" money on poker (if you are intelligent). It's not golf. You're supposed to make a small investment ($50), read shedloads of info on FTR, get good at poker and win a bunch of monies.

Yeah what irish said. Since I picked up poker (with zero previous knowledge about it) it's been paying for my expenses. Granted, they aren't that high as I'm still a student, but I woulda been in trouble if it wasn't for poker

I guess what I'm getting at with this blog is that we like to play but that with upcoming (and current) responsibilites we will not be able to put much time at all into our games.
I know from when I did take poker seriously, that even a week away from the tables meant that I fell behind.

Maybe in a few years I'll be able to put plenty of time in again to grind out a bankroll and incrementally improve, but it really isn't an option at the moment. For now I'll get maybe 2 or 3 short sessions a week - I'll honestly be happy to tread water skills wise in that time.
