What do you put him on? AA/QQ/AQ seem pretty unlikely from a 30/9 player. And 77 is less likely with hero holding one.

With those numbers, you'd think he'd raise 77/AQ preflop. That said, I'd still fold. He's going to make us play for stacks here, and I don't want to!

I thought the same thing. But if I'm usually ahead of his range should I really fold? In the actual hand I called his raise and folded to his insta pot sized bet on a total blank turn. The more I think about this the more I think he had Qxdd or KJdd/JTdd. I just can't come up with a hand that beats mine that he'd limp unless it was A7s or a missed limp/raise with AA. But then again his aggression after the flop is only 1.00 after a good deal of hands and he's throwing in a 3rd bet here.

the reason you should fold here is because you can't just call, and if you shove you are BA/WB when called.

We could call and then pork him on the turn if it's a blank?

True, but the turn only really improves our equity against a flush draw. Top pair better kicker still has tons of outs to draw out. Also, we can't stand a very big bet on the turn, but we expect to meet one.

Hand range Renton? I think Hero's ahead here more often than not. I probably re-raise to ~$20 on the flop but I'm not sure that gets the most value out of worse hands.

And how exactly to you plan to show down cheap against a highly probable huge turn bet followed by an all-in on the river?

calling and shoving a blank turn isn't that bad of a course of action, but probably a pretty high variance / low ev play.
