    Check/call a reasonable bet.

never say always, it is table dependent with the people ahead of you dependent. But raising TT is usually a good thing.

I know what you're saying... never say ALWAYS, however I would have raised in this situation.

well personally i think raising 99- , AQo- can be table and position dependent, and you should raise TT+, AK, AQs 100% and suited connectors a certain % of the time when folded to

normally I raise/limp 66-99 about 50/50 from utg through utg+2, and raise 44+ in mp and lp. From the blinds, I like to juice the pot by raising to 3-4x when there are several limpers with 77-TT, while making a huge isolation raise with JJ+, AK

I raise any pair pre-flop at most tables.

Fnord, do you ALWAYS pound lot of limpers with deuces? Isn't a difference between opening, iso-raising loose limper, raising limpers from LP and raising limpers from blinds, blind wars etc.? Depth of stacks.....I assume 100BB, because raising shortstack with small PP looks very gamb00l.

"Raising preflop" is too wide term to give such a specific answer IMO....

Opening with deuces or better...well in tight table it's +EV I think, nits will fold KQ, AJ etc and donks will call with whatever only to butcher their hand postflop.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

Default Re: Should I raise preflop????????

As one of the few people who actually play at these stakes (only a few more buyins till "properly" rolled for 25nl) you raise preflop 10 times out of 10 out the BB with this many limpers. Make it an even $1 (depending on the time of day, it'll be folded out, or you'll get 3 callers) and this hand will play out a lot easier.
