Preflop reraising

    Default Preflop reraising

Does everyone auto reraise AQ+ TT+? I think that when I do this I lose value when I know that I will be HU and they will cbet. I gain 5BBs on their cbet, I do this especially when I'm in the blinds. This also helps to keep the pot down when I am oop. Is my thinking here short sighted? Should I be thinking about my strong hand, buiding the pot, and playing post flop in a reraised pot?

I autoreraise QQ+ and AK. Occasionally I'll smoothcall AA/KK. Very often I reraise with TT/JJ, but im starting to smoothcall with these more and more. These hands just don't do very well in reraised pots vs tight/passive players (the majority of the stars SSNL player pool).

Lately, im more likely to reraise AJ+ KJ+ than TT/JJ. I like to have position or at least a loose range for the raiser when I raise these hands.

I usually just call TT, AQ and maybe AK vs nitty types, and otherwise often reraise the AQ+ TT+ range (and a lot more if time feels right) versus others.

I almost never smooth call QQ+, but think there are times I lose value and think I should do it sometimes for deception especially in heads up pots.
