Default 50NL - trying to learn stack aggression

Villain is pretty straight up player, 16/10 ~50 hands. How bad is this?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($49.25)
    UTG ($47.75)
    Hero ($60.75)
    Button ($43.50)
    SB ($13.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A, K.
UTG raises to $2, Hero calls $2, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50.

    Flop: ($6.25) 8, J, 7 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $3, Hero calls $3, BB folds.

    Turn: ($12.25) Q (2 players)
UTG bets $8, Hero raises to $55.75

    I thought 16/10 was tight enough I didn't have to raise pre-flop
    That's me floating the flop

I like it with your outs.

When I try this stuff I usually get called by the nuts though.

You don't have to shove, $25 on turn with hammer threat on river will tell him clearly that he's playing for stacks.

When you shove, what do you think you're representing exactly besides a flush draw?

I call here because opp is repping a strong hand. I know the line is teh suck but I think a push is a leak.

it'll be tougher to play against you if you just raise this turn and push any river imo
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

When I did it he only had $35 left in his stack (cuz 8 was on the table) so I thought it was only a slight overbet. Thing is, even if he had been a $30 shorty and my push had been an appropriately sized raise, what am I representing? This is what I'm pondering. I wouldn't play a set/straight/AJ this way, maybe I should re-consider. AQ, JQ def but that's only two hands.

I have to stop sucking at picking HH first. Maybe I'm just nth leveling the 100NLers so they won't know what hit them when I move up
