FTR Fantasy Football Championship Game

I play 'this is a stickup!' for the championship this week.

We have to start 2 RBs and I'm not sure what to do.

Steven Jackson will start at one RB spot.

The other spot will go to either Maurice Jones-Drew or Reggie Bush.

Both Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor got hurt last week but word is that Maurice Jones-Drew will play against New England this week. The problem is that New England stops the run.

Reggie Bush goes against the Giants this week.

Before you automatically say to start Jones-Drew over Bush remember that in our league we are heavily rewarded for the number of receptions. In other words, backs like Bush are valuable because of all their receptions even when their rushing yards aren't there.

After reading the LA Times today it looks like Bush/Saints is the right choice over Drew/Jaguars.

Things look good for the Saints:

NFL passing leader Drew Brees should pick apart the league's 28th-ranked pass defense.

Things don't look as good for Jacksonville:

[The Patriots] are second in the NFL in scoring defense, giving up 13.8 points a game.

The championship game was close but I was able to come out with a 135 to 126 victory. Boomshakalaka was able to beat Nacho The Luchador in the 3rd place game.

Congrats to this is a stickup! for putting up a great fight and getting outstanding production from his QB and RBs.
