    Preflop: Hero is BB with A, T.
    Button calls $0.50, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($1.50) 6, 9, T (3 players)
    SB checks, Hero bets $1.25, Button calls $1.25, SB raises to $5, Hero ???

    Villian is 55/16/1 over about 60 hands.

    What's your play here and why?

    I dont like:
    1. Its a check raise just a bit scarier;
    2. The button still has to act behind you, the pot could get big mulit way and messy infront of your eyes unless you raise which I hate for;
    2(b). The pot gets bloated into a checkraiser on a nasty board with a weakish holding;
    3. The flush draw is there as well as some sort of straight meaning lots of scary cards in the deck, eating up some of your outs ;
    4. Its a limped pot so any 2 could be out there.

    I'd therefore fold, but I realise that villan is quite loose and I scored pretty high on the gay test!

    I was on stars 50 6max about an hour ago and from the standard of play there at the mo I dont think you need to make marginal plays like this to win the $$.

    I'd call, and like the other hand, reevaluate. It's marginal hands like these that you don't want to play a large pot with. If he continues to show strength on the turn, I'd fold. A c/r on the flop is pretty strong and could be a big hand.
    My sig is too much for you to handle.
