    Default Biggest UPswing ever ....

In the spirit of Jager's "biggest downswing" post, I thought It would be interesting to see what people's biggest upswings were? (and more uplifting too!)

I'm currently riding a 12 buy-in up swing at $100NL, which is a nice change, since my move from 50 to 100NL had been kicking my ass!

My biggest upswing at 100NL is my current 12 buy-in upswing, and my biggest ever is probably 14-15 buy-ins at $50NL ..

I'm curious to see if these numbers are very low compared to others. I'd imagine they would be, since my biggest downswing was also much lower than most.

posted this in one of my threads. 9 buy ins at $20NL in one day, 1500 hands I went on to have a 20 buy in stretch in two days before dropping 2 in the third. by far my best to date.

    Very nice trainer_jyms!

Seems as though most people are more willing to share their downswings than upswings!

Or maybe a good winning player might just have trouble finding where a particular upswing begins and ends... hmmm.....

My biggest upswing was about 25bb/100 over 10k hands at 50NL.

this shows my biggest downswing (50nl I mentioned in the other thread) followed by biggest upswing:

I lost the db that made this graph when my computer broke a while ago, but it was something like 15-20ptbb/100 over 20-30k hands- ~15 buyins at 50nl then ~50 at 100nl, good times!

I think my biggest heater in $$$ terms was this session when I was starting to play party nl400 :

    hands : 290
    vpip : 26.9
    pfr : 15.9%
    Won$WSF : 47.14
    $ won : 2507.66$
    ptBB/100 : 108.09

It was so short that I suppose it can't be really classified as an "upswing" but I just hit n ran and went and got drunk .

Besides that, I guess 6-max has been a pretty steady "upswing". Since starting my 1st PT database in June, I've run at 10.52 PTbb/100 over about 42k hands.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

if you are a winning player, theoretically there are no "upswings" unless u mean the period between two downswings

Yah, I guess thats more of what I meant. I figured the definition of 'upswing' might vary amongst people after I posted it.

I guess for my, my definition of upswing/downswing is based on the end total of any given day. Each day I usually keep track of my roll on a site, and write notes on what I thought about my play that day. So its easy for me to see how many straight days of winning I had (number of buyins) before I had a day or two of losing a few buyins.
