Default 10 players vs. 6 players in PT

When I play full ring cash games with 10 players PT rank me as TAA (Tight-aggressive/aggressive). When I play with only 6 players I get ranked as SLAA (semi-loose-aggressive/aggressive).

Is this natural since I will play more hands with less players or should I go for TAA also 6-handed?

    Advice appreciated

If you are using the same PT player ratings for both full-ring and shorthanded it is natural that you will play more hands in a shorthanded game and PT will rate you as SL.

Dont change your style in shorthanded just so that PT rates you Tight/Agressive. Instead you can change the rating criteria that PT uses to classify players.

There are rating criteria for shorthanded available.

There are? Where can I find it? Can I make PT group the two kinds of play in the database and rank them differently?

Go to the PokerTracker forums for more info.

I never bothered to change the ratings - the raw numbers are more important

Rating criteria in PT is crappy at best. Learn to make your own decisions on player types based on their play and stats.

You got a link here, at the forum. But I would like to know, how you can differ players who play full ring and shorthanded games and have different stats at different games (or, if someone plays limit and no limit, how you can differ his limit and his NL stats). To be honest, I think I am one of few players at stars who plays shorthanded and full ring games (it is funny, but I really feel so), but anyway. Sorry to bump in your thread. I will find you a link.

    Thanks
I use the raw data as well, but it's interesting to play around with the ratings and it helps in making quick desissions.

The full ring ratings on the link change my ratings to SLPA. Byt of course the more important part is that I'm trying to raise more preflop than before. I have moved from 5% to 7.5% lately and that seems to have been a good thing.

Raise SC preflop most of the time and pocket pairs in all positions.
