Default AK deepstacked in rr pot

Villain is loose passive pre- and postflop. Preflop numbers are ~30/5/1.4 over ~100 hands. I haven't seen him do anything too stupid yet. Line check?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Holdem Ring game - Blinds: $1/$2 - 9 players - Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $158.70
    UTG+1: $401.75
    MP1: $435.05
    MP2: $175.20
    Hero: $311
    CO: $118.90
    Button: $116.45
    SB: $65.90
    BB: $283.85

    Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with A K
4 folds, Hero raises to $7, 2 folds, SB calls, BB raises to $22, Hero calls, SB folds.

    Flop: 7 J K ($51, 2 players)
    BB bets $32, Hero calls.

    Turn: 5 ($115, 2 players)
    BB bets $36, Hero calls.

    River: T ($187, 2 players)
    BB bets $62, Hero calls.

    Meh.
I don't really see a 3-barell bluff here in a re-raised pot. Bets are small though, so it's hard to find fault with just calling down.

The only hand you possibly beat is QQ. Only other possibly liine (besides folding somewhere) is raising turn. Shoving river would be pretty sexy, if insane ape-shit aggro is sexy.

i agree w/ zenblitz. i dont really see what your beating here besides QQ if villaing is that passive, but i cant fault calling down w/ the small bet sizes.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    Here's another boring agree post.

Either he's value betting small or he's stop betting so calling down seems like a pretty adequate line to take.

I don't think I would call the river with such an obvious flush draw on it.

Agree. I think this villain's pre-flop re-raising range is AA/KK/AK, and even if it includes QQ, he's not second-barreling it with a K on the board. So a good question is, since we're deep, whether I can push him off AA/AK often enough with a river shove (he'd have to call ~$130) to make it profitable. This question is easier if his weak turn/river bets shade his range toward AK...

he isnt folding anything he beats us with, but i can agree we *might* be able to push him off a split.

Why are we taking a passive line with TPTK in a rr pot? Raise that flop and fold to a shove.
She looked at me and said youz a baby right?
I told her, I'm 18 and live a crazy life

because by raising we push out any hands that we beat (and thus would be extracting value from on the turn/river) and we're not folding out better hands.
Having said that, I think we need to find a fold on the turn or the river. I think this AA almost all the time.
    Family Cruise IMO

this is why idont call reraises with AK a lot unless opp will raise more than just AA-QQ/ Its also the reason why you need to 4bet here sometimes to push out QQ/AK reraising in position at times.

Do we raise here if the flop has two to a suit? Or is this always a call down?

I'm never raising the flop. It pushes out the only hand we beat, and he's calling with the two hands that beat us and the one hand we tie, so we don't even gain any information. If the board's two-toned it plays the same, except it might be easier to bluff the turn or river if the flush hits.

Results (you don't have to look!):
Villain shows AKo for the tie.
